General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
§1 Scope of application
These GTC apply to all freelancer services offered by me via this portfolio page, including web development, design, marketing and consulting.
§2 Conclusion of contract
A contract is concluded by written agreement, project approval or down payment. Offers are valid for 14 days.
§3 Scope of services
The scope of services is based on the written offer. License costs of third parties or hosting costs are not included unless expressly agreed.
§4 Customer obligations to cooperate
Customers must provide content, access data and feedback. Delays may extend project deadlines.
§5 Remuneration & terms of payment
Payment model: 50% down payment, 40% before handover, 10% after acceptance.
Payment term: 7 days. In case of default of payment, project progress may be stopped.
§6 Acceptance
Acceptance is deemed to have taken place if no defects are reported within 7 days or the product is used productively.
§7 Copyrights & rights of use
All created works remain my intellectual property until full payment. Transfer without consent is not permitted.
§8 Warranty & liability
Warranty: 12 months. No liability for third-party software or hosting problems.
Liability only in case of intent or gross negligence; maximum up to the project value.
§9 Maintenance & support
Support is only provided under a maintenance contract; otherwise according to effort.
§10 Termination
Possible at any time; services already rendered must be paid for.
§11 Confidentiality
Both parties undertake to treat all project information confidentially.
§12 Place of jurisdiction
Place of jurisdiction: Bremen, Germany. German law applies.
§13 Severability clause
Should a provision be invalid, the remainder of the GTC remains valid.
